ACTIVE TICKET OFFICES
Reservation to visit the sights is mandatory for groups of min. 10 participants. Individual visitors can access the museums without reserving a time slot for the entry.
The single tickets to the museums and the combined cards can be bought at the Tourist information office located in Piazza Matteotti, 12 (open every day, 09-17.30) and at the Infopoint inside the Basilica Palladiana (open 10-18). The combined cards (namely the Vicenza Silver Card and the Vicenza Gold Card) are also sold at the ticket offices of the following private museums: the Jewelley Museum, the Gallerie d'Italia-Palazzo Leoni Montanari, the Palladio Museum, the Diocesan Museum.
It is also possible to buy single tickets or cards in advance, on the online platform Ticketlandia, at this link (online purchase available until the day before the visit).

NOT FAR FROM THE CITY CENTRE...
Do not miss the chance to go on top of the Monte Berico hill, with the best panoramic view on the city. The Baroque Sanctuary that sits on top of it hosts numerous masses, but it is always possible to access the cloister and the Sala del Quadro (the Painting's room), in which Paolo Veronese's imposing paiting "Cena di San Gregorio Magno" is displayed. On the upper floor, the Sacred Art Museum can be visited for free.
VILLA VALMARANA AI NANI, with the frescoes by Gianbattista Tiepolo and his son Giandomenico Tiepolo, is open every day (Monday 2nd June included) from 10 to 18 -> more information on audioguides and guided tours on the main website www.villavalmarana.com
VILLA LA ROTONDA is usually open from Friday to Sunday 10-12 / 15-18, and exceptionally on Monday 2nd June too. Reservation is mandatory for guided torus only. www.villalarotonda.it
The Olympic Theatre and the Civic Museums of Vicenza are open to the public during the special spring holidays, namely on the 25th April and on 1st May (closed on 28th April - as per their usual weekly closure).
Reservation to access the sights is mandatory for groups of min. 10 people. Individual visitors do not need to reserve the entrance at any museum.

WELCOME! The Tourist information office, located in Piazza Matteotti, 12, is open every day and welcomes tourists from 09 to 17.30. The Infopoint located inside the Basilica Palladiana is usually open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 to 18 (Easter and Easter Monday included, of course!).
WHAT TO VISIT?
The Olympic Theatre is open from 09 to 17 (last entrance at 16.30), whereas most of the other cultural sights of the city centre open from 10 to 18 (last entrance at 17.30). The museum circuit will be regurlarly open on the 25th April and the 1st May too. The museums will remain closed on Monday 28th.

The Civic Museums will be regularly open to the public on Saturday, Easter and Easter Monday with the usual opening times.
The Olympic Theatre will be open 9 am – 5 pm (last admission 4.30 pm: reservation is mandatory only for groups above 10 persons. The other monuments are accessible 10 am – 6 pm (last admission 5.30 pm) as well as the Basilica Palladiana, which can be visited in its entirety (hall, loggia and panoramic rooftop).

OPEN TICKET OFFICES
The reservations is mandatory only for groups above 10 persons: all the monuments are accessible without reserving a specific time slot.

The Tourist information office is located in Piazza Matteotti, 12, open every day from 9 to 17.30 (closed onl on 25th December and 1st January), whereas the Infopoint inside the Palladian Basilica is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 to 18.

The Civic Museums will be closed on the 25th December and 1st January, with the exception of the Basilica Palladiana, which hosts a new temporary exhibition inside the main hall, titled " Capolavori a Vicenza" LEONARDO DA VINCI - JACOPO BASSANO - GIANANDREA GAZZOLA. Christmas lights
The Christmas activities will officially begin on Friday 29th November in Piazza dei Signori, at 17.30, with the ehibition of a choir of students from the school music departments.
The videomapping
The videomapping show titled "Faber Aura" is scheduled at specific hours of the day and will light up the facades of the palazzos in Piazza dei SIgnori until 6th January 2025:
Moreover, at the beginning of every hour and every half an hour a videoshow and background music will animate the square for 8 minutes.
“Faber Aura” evokes the essence of craftsmanship as art that permeates the very soul of Vicenza. “Faber” is the artisan, the maker that gives shape to the matter, while “Aura” suggests the atmosphere of beauty and artistry enshrouding the city.
The square set-up will be completed by a natural, 17-metre-tall Christmas tree, decorated with bright, warm LED lights.
The traditional cascade of lights, a must during the Christmas period, will be set up in Piazza delle Erbe, in Corte dei Bissari, in Piazza Biade, Piazza Matteotti, Piazza Castello, Piazza San Lorenzo and in Piazzale De Gasperi. A luminous sphere set in Piazza Matteotti makes it for the perfect location to take Christmas selfies. Light crossings and ground installations will also be placed along the streets, in green areas and roundabouts close to the city centre.
The traditional wooden chalet markets are also returning to the city from 29th November to 1st January with Christmas items, accessories, clothing, regional products and handicrafts.
"Polar park Vicenza" ice rink
"Polar park Vicenza" will officially open on November 23 at 16.30 and will be available until January 12. Carousels and rides for children can also be found in the same area (Viale Roma).
The ice rink will be open until 20th December and from 7th to 12th January, from Monday to Friday from 15.30 to 21, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 22. From 21st December to 6th January it will be open every day from 10 to 22. The last entry will be possible until one hour before closing time. People with disabilities with an accompanying person will be able to skate using a special wheelchair (available free of charge). OPENING TIMES, PRICES AND INFO HERE
New Year's Eve and Epiphany
On the night of the 31th December, a party with free of charge access will be held in the historical centre, whereas the Orchestra of the Olympic Theatre will perform at the local Teatro Comunale LINK.
On New Year's Eve, a big event will also be held in Viale Roma. More news on this regard will come in the following weeks.
Le feste si chiuderanno con il Mercato dell'Epifania, il 4, 5 e 6 gennaio dalle 9 alle 19.30 in centro storico, organizzato dall’associazione Non ho l'età. The festive period will end with the Epiphany Market, from 4th to 6th January, from 9 to 19.30, hosted in the city centre and organised by the Non ho l'età association.
Sightseeing train and horse carousel
The electric train "eco express" comes back for yet another cheerful journey along the districts of the historic centre with departure from Largo Zileri, along Corso Palladio.The trip takes 15 minutes and you can see the most important sights and monuments.
The train will be available until 19th December on Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 15 to 19 exclusively; from 20th December to 6th January every day from 15 to 19. It will remain in the historic centre even after the holidays: from 7th January to 28th February will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 15 to 19, from 1st to 4th March every day from 15 to 19.
In Largo Zileri people can find the horse carousel "Antico carosello 1921" during the Christmas period (and until 4th March): active on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10.30 to 12.30 and from 15 to 19, weekdays from 15.30 to 19. Closed on Mondays.
WHERE TO PARK?
It is advised to park the car in one of the parking lots located close to the non-traffic area of the city centre (see more on the map of the parking lots).

On the occasion of All Saints' Holiday the cultural sights - including Teatro Olimpico - will be open regularly.
From November, 1st until November, 3rd will be possible to:
The Museo Diocesano will be open.
The Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza will be open from 10 am till 5pm, free entry.
Not far away from the city centre, the Sanctuary of Monte Berico with the masterpiece 'la Cena di Gregorio Magno' by Paolo Veronese, will be open with free entry on Friday and Saturday 6am-12.30pm/2.30pm-7pm. On Sunday it will be open from 6am till 7pm.
Villa Valmarana ai nani will be open everyday from 10am till 6pm and Villa La Rotonda will be open from Friday till Sunday.

Due to work in progress, the temporary Olympic Theatre’s access is now located in Stradella Teatro Olimpico n.8. The garden is freely accessible.

From 9th of November 2023, by decision of the Direction, in the Teatro Olimpico and in the other Civic Museums the access is allowed to small pets (held in their owner's arms or with a dog carrier), guide dogs for visually impaired/blind people, servicedogs for assistance to people with disabilities, domestic pets certified by public health facilities to support therapeutic treatment (pet therapy).

Pop, the short show of lights and sounds inside the Olympic Theatre is scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday, at the following hours:
9.30, 10.30, 11.30 + 14.30, 15.30, 16.30.
The Galleries of Palazzo Thiene are open as usual from Thursday to Sunday, from 09 to 187 (last entrance at 16.30).
The Risorgimento and Resistance Museum can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 09 to 13.00 and from 14.15 to 17.00 (last entrance at 16.30).
The Basilica Palladiana can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 to 18. It is possible to visit the loggias on the first floor and part of the main hall, due to the presence of a temporary exhibition (more information on the exhibition here). OCTOBER
21/10/2023 Early closure scheduled at 16.30 - last entrance at 16.00
22/10/2023 The Theatre will be closed during the morning and will follow these opening times: open from 09 to 10 (last entrance at 09.30) and from 14 to 17 (last entrance at 16.30)

On the 13th of May, Vicenza's Civic Museums adheres to the "European Night of Museums".
The Olympic Theatre, the Civic Art Gallery of Palazzo Chiericati, the Galleries of Palazzo Thiene, and the Natural History and Archaeological Museum will be open until 10 pm (last admission 9:30 pm). From 5 pm, it will be possible to visit the aforementioned sites with a reduced price ticket. Reservation is not required.
Palazzo Thiene is housing the exhibition “Blank Generation: the New York punk in the shadow of Palladio”, that will close on Sunday 14th May, while Palazzo Chiericati is hosting another exhibition, “Gli amici della gaia gioventù: Art and Poetry in Vicenza from 1930 to 1950”. Both these exhibitions are free entry, so no tickets are required.
At the Natural History and Archaeological Museum tourists will find the exhibition “Stilt houses and pirogues of Fimon Lake”, which is included in the museum's ticket.
On the rooftop of the Basilica Palladiana the bar will be open from 7 pm to 1 am. In case of bad weather, the rooftop will be closed.
At the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza, the Orchestra Popolare “La notte della Taranta” (the Popular Orchestra “The Night of the Taranta”) will perform with its groups of dancers, singers and artists.
Galleries of Palazzo Leoni Montanari are exceptionally open from 8 pm to 12 pm. With the special ticket at € 1,00, you can see the collection of Russian icons, of Attic and Magna Graecia pottery, of 17th century paintings and a new exhibition named EX - Illustri x Elena Xausa.

Palladio Museum organizes an activity named “Buonanotte Raffaello” for children from 8 to 12 years old. They will enjoy the visit of the museum in an unusual way: by night, with the museum closed to the public, and with some activities that will give them the chance to explore the building. During the holidays for the Immaculate Conception, the Civic Museums of Vicenza - Olympic Theatre included - will be visitable following the regular opening times.
From 8th to 11th December 2022, the following museums will be open from 9 to 17 (last entrance at 16.30):
