A scale model of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza welcomes visitors to the Italy pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

To welcome visitors to the Italian Pavilion, in addition to a series of events and shows in the pipeline - it will be a reconstruction of the front stage of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza by Andrea Palladio. A sort of symbolic and evocative passage to the heart of the Pavilion which will illustrate with a series of rooms inspired by the leitmotif "living Italian style", the country and its capabilities.
